She made me feel hypochondriac, because every time I went she was done with some understanding words. I had to go back with the same problem several times, just to turn out that I actually had something. Waste extremely lot of time.
Once I had a very serious illness, that could've easily been deadly. I almost didn't go to check it out, as I always felt stupid going to her because of the above mentioned impression she gave me. Luckily I did go. She checked me, did some tests in the lab and then she basically lied to me that she sends me to the hospital because she couldn't take an x-ray at the minilab at her praxis. She tried to make me call a cab, but I told her I can just take the bus or something, no need to spend money on that. Turns out, that my condition was so serious that she shouldn't have let me decide, but force me to get to the hospital as soon as I could. And there I obviously didn't get an x-ray but was put on oxygen straight away instead...
Long after my treatment with that problem was over, I went back to her to ask if she knew from the tests we made what my problem was. She said that the results suggested it, but it seemed so unlikely to her...
Well, needless to say that I switched doctor.
Steine, men hun sluttet.
I had about 3 encounters with her and each one was horrifying experience.
1. I took an annual exam where she was looking up some stuff on the internet to "check something" regarding the procedure while I was laying down... it was awkward. I haven't heard the result in weeks so I called and she "forgot to send it to the lab and it was still there." It took over a month to get the result and I'm still not even sure how the sample was still ok after weeks of "sitting there in the lab"
2. I had an emergency and missed 1 appointment, but because it was my first time in Norway, I didn't know that there was a big charge on the missed appointment. I asked to waive and after a long persuasion, she agreed which was great. But she forgot to waive and I kept getting bills for 2 months.
I also got some 'mistaken' bill saying that I didn't pay for the appointment which I did... so it was so tiresome to deal with all of that for months.
3. Next exam I had, (same kind) she sent a letter saying that there was something wrong with the test and didn't get the result, so I had to come back. But since it wasn't my fault, I didn't expect to pay. The nurse at the desk thought I shouldn't, either but the doctor said that I still have to pay for the new test. She then rudely said "you can just get a new doctor if you want." I could have just paid and take the test but I was so offended by the way she treated me and just changed the doctor right away. But as a doctor she should have advised me to take the test anyways and at least apologize for the mistake in the test.
Also, all other doctors in the legesenter come out and greet patients in the lobby where she's just at the door and shouts the name. It's not welcoming.
I've taken this test for years and I'm a patient who needs to watch and take this test regularly. This is sensitive for me and the doctor had no sympathy whatsoever.
I have never had an issue with test or doctors previously.
I only stayed with her because I actually signed up for a different doctor who had a great review here, but Dr. Susanne was a substitute for the other doctor... and I was just waiting for her to leave and have the other doctor come back. I just found out that now Dr Susanne is the official replacement and that means NEVER coming back to this legesenter and I would advise everyone to stay out.
I'm actually upset that I even have to give 1 star.
